Why I Set Sail with Request Network
Imagine sitting in a boat, peacefully sailing across the still waters of a familiar lake. It’s comfortable, serene. But over the horizon, you see an unexplored ocean, wild and brimming with potential. That’s precisely what stepping into the world of Request Network feels like for me.
As a previous marketing lead at Celestia.org, StableLab, and Mindvalley.com (focused on advertising), I’ve navigated the lake of dev-focused infra, DAO growth, and web2 edutech. Some of the work that I spearheaded involved branding and launching StableLab, growing the engagement and following on Celestia’s social media, and managing 7+ figures of marketing budgets profitably at Mindvalley.
In TradFi, the waves of siloed systems, platform barriers, and the murky waters of credit access and integration complexities were everyday hurdles. But at Request Network, we’re sailing toward an open ocean of possibilities in the realm of web3, free from these familiar shackles.
In the web3 world, Request Network stands out as a beacon of transparency and cooperation. It’s an open ecosystem where everyone, from payment and invoice app builders to lending institutions, can play in harmony and synergy.
What does this mean for the little guy, the small-scale business owners, or the young entrepreneur? With Request Network, they can have the same financial clout as the big players. Enabling services like invoice-based lending, credit scoring, and insurance hands them the wheel to steer their financial destiny. Talk about empowering!
So what made me set sail into the web3 sea with Request Network? It’s a combination of their futuristic vision, the empowering cooperative ecosystem-driven approach, and the level playing field they offer to all players, big or small.
In this new role, I’ll leverage my experience to build a robust marketing strategy, breathe new life into the brand identity, and stitch together impactful partnerships. My goal? To make Request Network the household name in the world of web3 finance. Picture a future where getting finances, buying insurance, making e-commerce transactions, or even managing a corporate wallet are as seamless as sending a text message. That’s the future Request Network is envisioning and working towards, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this journey.
In a nutshell, joining Request Network is my way of being part of the revolution that’s reshaping how we see and use money. It’s about being part of an unstoppable, long-term-driven team that’s making financial management accessible and equitable.
And as we move forward, I will focus on supporting the ecosystem growth, aiding Request Network builders, and taking brand awareness to new heights. It will be an exciting journey, and I can’t wait to see what we achieve together.
