Tech
How is Request Network built
Ethereum & IPFS
Request Network is built on top of Ethereum & IPFS. The IPFS network is designed to create a content-addressable, peer-to-peer method of storing and sharing hypermedia in a distributed file system.
Request Node
Nodes receive transactions (e.g. invoice creation and acceptance), batch them, and save them on IPFS and Ethereum. They abstract IPFS, Ethereum, and gas for the users. They also store all the data.
Request Gateway
With high-level APIs, gateways make Request Network easier to use than nodes. APIs allow seamless interaction with Request Network, and users can manage their keys, identity, and gas purchases.
The most widely used Web3 invoicing platform

Ready to build your Web3 invoicing solution?
Invoicing dApp Grant
The Request Network Foundation aims to create a transparent, immutable ecosystem of financial products and services. We envision a future where developers, grantees, partners, and community members use the Request Network and build together.
Grant applications for building a Web3 invoicing dApp are open, and grants are awarded continuously for the time being.
The grant amount is a maximum of $10,000 depending on the value added to the Request Network ecosystem, services being built, required resources, etc.
We are reviewing submissions every week.
The complete evaluation process takes, on average, one month.
The grant is not intended for dev shops or no-code platforms
