NEW: NEAR and Request in Collaboration. Adding NEAR Tokens on Request Invoicing
NEAR is listed on Request Invoicing, bringing another token from a world-class dApp and blockchain platform to the Request ecosystem.
- Request adding Near tokens as another currency to be used in the Request Invoicing app
- Request and Near co-building payment detection for a smoother user experience
- Request and Near launching a promo in celebration of their collaboration
- Request seeking to expand to other potential blockchains for interoperability and scalability
We’re excited to announce our collaboration together with NEAR Protocol to support and power transactions using the NEAR tokens. Now, members of the NEAR community can easily issue an invoice to the NEAR foundation and receive their NEAR tokens as a declarative payment with the Request Invoicing app. We’re also working to provide a seamless user experience with an automated payment detection. A bounty is being offered to the community of NEAR developers to help us on this task. Adding NEAR to the list of digital payments in Request Invoicing benefits any user keen on paying or getting paid in NEAR token.
NEAR has proven itself to be a highly performant, decentralized application platform with the incredible ecosystem that they’re building. We’re both humbled and excited to collaborate with NEAR on leading the world for a more open finance and open web; enabling our communities, creators, and developers to have access to and build secure apps on the blockchain with faster transactions and scalability. We’re looking forward to continuing our partnership with NEAR working together on other upcoming projects.
In celebration of our collaboration, NEAR and Request will launch a promo giveaway for 5 lucky winners to receive US$50 in NEAR tokens!
At Request we understand the need for more interoperability between systems and blockchains as well as a more openness in the network. While the Request Network is built on the Ethereum blockchain, we aim to expand our services across other leading blockchains such as NEAR, and not just with Ethereum. Regardless of the different apps and networks that an individual may have as a preference, our mission is to create a robust ecosystem that features (but not limited to) blockchain-based invoicing, payments and accounting systems for a range of users to benefit from within the DeFI space.
NEAR Protocol (NEAR) is a decentralized application platform designed to make apps usable on the web. The network runs on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Nightshade, which aims to offer scalability and stable fees. NEAR is the native utility token that is used for: fees for processing transactions and storing data; running validator nodes on the network via staking NEAR tokens; and used for governance votes to determine how network resources are allocated.
About Request Network
Request (REQ) is an open network for transaction and payment requests built on Ethereum. It’s first product, Request Invoicing, allows anyone from freelancers to small businesses and organizations to create, store and access invoices and receipts in a universal, decentralized network. Users can easily send professional, secured, compliant invoices and receive payments in traditional currencies like USD and EUR — or digital currencies such as USDC, DAI and USDT among many others in the list.
