Blockscout builds an open-source block explorer for EVM chains. Its hosted offering, Autoscout, lets teams deploy and manage their own explorer instances. As the product grew, the team needed a way to accept crypto payments from customers.

They had previously used another provider, but when they learned that Request Network had launched a crypto payments product, switching felt like a natural next step. The team was already familiar with Request Network and decided to explore whether it could support their needs.

The integration started with a few working sessions where Blockscout walked the Request Network team through Autoscout’s payment flow and product requirements. Rather than forcing Blockscout to adapt to an existing solution, Request Network incorporated the team’s feedback into the implementation. According to Blockscout, that collaborative approach made the biggest difference.

Today, Autoscout accepts crypto payments through Request Network, giving customers a straightforward way to pay while allowing funds to settle directly between wallets.
