Greetings, Request Network community!

Welcome to the Ecosystem Update for October 2025, a regular overview of the Request Network Foundation’s progress, featuring the latest developments in crypto payments, invoicing, and onchain detection through our plug-and-play API.

In October, EasyInvoice and the Request Network API improved ecommerce testing and reconciliation, with in-dashboard Client ID flows, stronger USD reporting, and a new interactive docs demo that showcases collision-proof payments.

Before we dive deeper, if you want help to integrate the Request Network API today, book a call with our team.

TECH UPDATES

EasyInvoice as an e-commerce and dashboard reference

EasyInvoice remains a practical reference implementation for teams integrating the Request Network API into browser-based apps.

In October, EasyInvoice gained features that make it more useful for e-commerce and for internal testing:

E-commerce tab and Client ID testing flow.

 Builders can now:

  • Generate and manage Client IDs from within the EasyInvoice dashboard.

  • Copy a Client ID and use it to test payments via the Request Checkout staging environment.

  • See payments automatically appear in the EasyInvoice sales dashboard, including customer information and linked receipts.

Dark mode and refreshed UI

A contribution from the Request Network community delivered a full dark mode implementation for EasyInvoice, better aligning its design with the Request Network's visual identity.

API improvements, currency handling

Several platform improvements went live or progressed in October to improve reliability, reporting, and future privacy options:

  • USD amounts and conversion in the API
Building on the payments endpoint that already exposes detailed fee breakdowns and USD-equivalent amounts, the API now returns the conversion rate and fee details in USD terms, simplifying reporting for teams that operate in fiat while settling in stablecoins.

  • Chain coverage strategy for future integrationsResearch continued into the next set of chains to support, including scaling networks such as Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and dedicated stablecoin infrastructures, with the aim of meeting demand from DAT-style treasuries and enterprise users while maintaining stability.

Interactive docs and reconciliation demos

Documentation continued to mature into a first-class product surface for the Request Network API.

In October, the team focused on a new interactive landing page demo that shows how Request Network handles payment collisions and reconciliation:

  • A split-screen flow contrasts manual, collision-prone blockchain payments with 100 percent automated reconciliation using identifiers and webhooks.

  • The flow is designed for non-technical readers, featuring clear steps and guidance rather than code inspection.

GROWTH UPDATES

Advocates program: Q3 contributors and recognitions

The Request Network Advocates program continued to support the ecosystem in Q3 with a mix of content, code, and community-facing work.

Across July, August, and September, advocates:

  • Published relevant content informing builders how to use the Request Network API for payments, invoicing, and onchain detection.

  • Opened pull requests that improve the developer experience in the Request Network and EasyInvoice codebases.

  • Contributed feedback on flows and UI in reference implementations.

Our advocates in Q3 were: Piji, Envoy, Mayur, and others who regularly support the protocol with education and technical improvements.

The Foundation thanks every advocate who contributed in Q3. The REQ rewards have been distributed.

If you would like to take part in the program, reach out via DM on X to the Request Network X account with a short overview of how you would like to help (content, code, or community).

Checkout landing page and use case-focused website

In October, we launched a separate checkout page. It places the focus on a concrete use case and explains how builders can:

  • Accept stablecoin payments for SaaS, e-commerce, memberships, and subscriptions.

  • Rely on Request Network for onchain detection, automated reconciliation, and flexible settlement.

  • Start with a basic checkout and grow into recurring, batch, or more complex flows without changing providers or incurring additional costs.
