Introducing another new Request Network recruit in the role of Protocol Lead: Francisco Pinto, an individual with experience in both business and tech – as in the blockchain industry. Starting his career in Mechanical Engineering, Francisco quickly found success in the automotive industry, where he honed his skills as a Process Engineer and Product Manager. As a lifelong learner, Francisco has completed various training courses and now has bragging rights over licenses and certifications, such as CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), PMP (Project Management Professional), and CSM (Certified Scrum Master).
Following his interest in blockchain technology, Francisco delved deeper into the subject, learning through podcasts, books, and community involvement. With his strong desire to contribute, he began to work on his programming skills, completing the Patrick Collins blockchain full-stack YouTube course and gaining knowledge of web3.js, ethers.js, Hardhat, and last but not least, Solidity.
As the founder of XCROW, a P2P decentralized platform for betting-based competition through smart contracts, Francisco led a team of nine people, successfully launching an innovative platform in Web3.
Beyond his work, Francisco values diverse experiences, having studied abroad in Colombia and traveled extensively through Latin America. He also enjoys staying current with industry advancements and spending time with his friends and furry companion.
In summary, Francisco is a dedicated and knowledgeable professional with a passion for technology and a well-rounded set of interests. We’re happy to have him on board and expect (more) great things to come 💗
